Vesta Intracon, International Trading & Consultancy, was established in 1987 as a distributor of chemicals and minerals. Later on the program of glass fibers for composite materials was added which became the second major business of the company. From our head-office in the Netherlands we manage our global network of offices, source agents and other partners on five continents.
We assist our partners in achieving their business goals with our local storage facilities, organized distribution network, high quality logistic support, security in the order-to- cash process, market research, consultancy services and company representation. We offer a standard range of products. Our services, however, go beyond this and we help our customers in finding products and/or services that are not included in our standard program.
We conduct our operations prudently to provide profits and growth and secure long term sustainability of our business, protecting at the same time the interest of our stakeholders; we develop, motivate, reward and retain our employees by providing good working conditions, performance based compensation and high degree of employment security, we treat our suppliers and customers as business partners, we fulfill our obligations towards the social community, and we conduct our business safely sharing everybody’s obligation for protection of the environment.
The contemporary communication tools will continuously increase the efficiency of the business processes but can not replace the personal contacts or change drastically the economy of scale in logistics. We will continue to provide personal touch, help to minimize the costs in the exchange of goods, provide the relevant information for the decision making process, bridge the geographical and time gap, and increase the security of (timely) supply. We will do this by implementing the best business practices and by promoting a code of business conduct that is based on honesty, integrity, and protection of the interest of our stakeholders. By doing this we firmly believe that we will remain an irreplaceable link in the business chain securing the interest of all parties involved. |
